Here a sneak peek at the 2011 Bmw 5 Series Touring wagon. This is a nice look for the high end stylish soccer mom. The Bmw 5 Series Touring wagon is based off the 5 Series Gran Turismo sedan. The 5 Series Touring wagon has a spacious design. BMW says some 19.4 cubic-feet of cargo space is available with the rear seats up, two more cubes than the outgoing model and approximately five more than the Gran Turismo sedan. The 5 Series Touring wagon is virtually identical to the sedan featuring four-wheel active steering, load-leveling rear air suspension,and the powertrain options are 2.0-liter turbodiesel I-4 for the entry-level 520d, while the higher-spec, 245 horsepower 530d pushes the wagon to 62 mph in a more than respectable 6.4 seconds.
This is definitely a nice whip to be pushing around town with the kids in the back. But, unfortunately after all the hype talk about the 2011 Bmw 5 Series Touring wagon it is not part of the automaker’s North American product plans. In other words not available in the US.
